About Sturm Enrich

Sturm EnrichMeet Sturm Enrich

Sturm Enrich’s story is a story of survival, victory, and ultimately, vindication.

In the span of 18 months, Sturm Enrich survived the loss of her beloved Mother, a sudden health crisis that left her disabled, and the breakup of a long-term relationship.

Each life-changing event felt like a wrecking ball at the time, yet she survived and went on to thrive. Now she’s guiding others through challenging transitions.

Death of her Mother

In the aftermath of her Mother’s death, Sturm felt as if she lost a large part of her identity and a sense of purpose. Sturm’s Mother inspired and drove Sturm’s work. Continuing without her seemed pointless.

Eventually, however, Sturm came to understand that she inherited many of her Mother’s values, which are reflected in her work. Sturm concluded that continuing her work is the best way to honor her Mother’s memory and contribute to her legacy.

With a renewed sense of purpose, the fire that once powered Sturm Enrich’s work returned.

Ruptured Appendix followed by disability

Less than a year after her Mother’s passing, Sturm Enrich became afflicted with a common condition: appendicitis. Experiencing pain so severe that it inhibited physical movement and coming from a family of physicians, she knew that hers was a medical emergency requiring urgent surgical intervention. Instead, the physician she saw sent her home with a prescription for antibiotics. As a result, she suffered a burst appendix and severe peritonitis. She’s been through two operations (one botched and one corrective), ICU, and a long fight with sepsis.

After a few weeks, she was released from the hospital. Once home, she realized that she’s not only bald and disabled but wasting away. (She was unable to digest any food and was experiencing catastrophic weight loss.) Continued medical care wasn’t helpful.

That’s the abbreviated and sterilized version of the story, which had several horrifying highlights. The “highlights” challenged Sturm’s faith in modern medicine, the healthcare system, and… the Matrix as such.

At the lowest point, it became clear to her that unless she took her healthcare into her own hands, she’d be doomed. Since her family members (physicians) are diseased and she herself isn’t a physician and couldn’t write prescriptions for herself, her only recourse was to research nutraceuticals (foods and nutritional supplements with therapeutic/healing properties). She did, and successfully so. She isn’t disabled. She recovered fully. She pulled herself up by the bootstraps.

Ever since, she knows the healthcare system we trust so much is far from perfect and shouldn’t be trusted blindly. (We, as patients, are entitled to some health autonomy and have alternative ways of helping ourselves.)

The Breakup

Confronted with the breakup of a long-term relationship, shortly after her bout with a burst appendix, no less, Sturm “discovered” that people – including those we love! – are ultimately unpredictable.

Of course, a breakup of any relationship, and a long-term relationship in particular, is painful and disappointing. Getting abandoned while grieving and ill is even harder. Initially, it makes one question their value. One wonders why they became suddenly dispensable to someone who claimed to love them. Lucky for Sturm, in her case, the answers were easy.

A mate who forgets history and walks away from a disabled person in mourning isn’t a person worth knowing, let alone loving.

Eventually, she asked herself how the relationship damaged her and how it benefited her. In her view, the benefits outweighed the damages.

Following the breakup, Sturm moved on with some contempt for her mate’s timing but with no regrets and no worse for wear. In fact, the end of the relationship ushered in a new chapter in her life: a chapter of higher self-esteem, self-respect, and definitely, higher standards.

What did she learn from her ordeals?

Ultimately, Sturm Enrich learned that survival and starting over are an inside job. Real life-saving or life-changing help comes from within. There is no substitute for self-confidence, perseverance, self-reliance, resilience, and a healthy perspective.

Major life events changed her. She learned from each. The most challenging events in her life forced her to develop coping and overcoming methods that made her stronger, wiser, more resilient, and more self-confident. (“Inconsistency” has a bad rap. Major life changes compel us to start over, create from scratch, and evolve.)

Her philosophy

Life is an ongoing evolution of the individual. We all face tragedies, challenges, obstacles, disappointments, and major changes. How we approach and handle them is who we become. Therefore, developing and maintaining inner strength and good health should be everyone’s priority.

Why is she using her skills and experience to advocate and teach?

She’s writing, sharing her experiences, advocating, and teaching because she knows that in stressful times it’s difficult to find a way out. She lived it; she struggled herself; she understands.

Who does she help?

Sturm Enrich helps people coping with a major life change or challenge, and those ready to start over, take charge of their lives, and create better lives for themselves.

Sturm survived the “unsurvivable” and became a better, stronger version of herself. She knows that there is hope and a great life on the other side of any crisis; Sturm Enrich will help you get there!

What she does not claim to be

Sturm Enrich has written two books on natural health (Green Self-Help and Green Anti-Aging).

Her interest in nutraceuticals (foods and nutritional supplements with therapeutic/healing properties) was inspired by her desperate need to recover from her ordeal with a burst appendix and incompetent medical care.

Friends who witnessed her successful recovery began soliciting her advice. The rest is history. Her interest in nutraceuticals never stopped. Her books and programs share the knowledge and experience she acquired.

She isn’t, and doesn’t claim to be, a medical professional. She is a self-taught nutraceuticals expert.
