Indomitable Phoenix Within

Even if your heart’s been crushed. Even if you feel like your back was broken. Even if your wings were chopped off. Even if you hit the rock bottom. Even if you’re filled with self-doubt. Even if life doesn’t seem to make sense. You have the indomitable Phoenix within.

Cut your losses. Count your blessings. Tend to your wounds. Remember: you maybe fragile, vulnerable, breakable. Phoenix is stronger than you, it’s indestructible. It always rises, even from the ashes.

There is a turning point in life when the Phoenix within awakens. It’s like a homecoming, like the big reveal of the “I” that was repressed for a long time. The “I” that was denied its selfhood. The “I” that cries out to be seen, heard, validated and valued. Only when the “I” speaks up, the revelation occurs. The sense of inner peace and freedom; deliberate detachment from the past and a catharsis follow. Out of the catharsis emerges self-love, purpose and drive.

Phoenix is a self-creator. Phoenix isn’t the person you’ve always been. Phoenix has no daemons. Phoenix has no roots, but brand new wings. Phoenix is the new you. Free of the past, pain, scars, guilt, shame, anger, resentment and regrets.

Phoenix loves and values himself; has compassion and forgiveness for himself. Phoenix doesn’t feel sorry for himself. Phoenix is no one’s victim. Phoenix’s only responsibility is to validate his truth.

Phoenix is a self-creator.
Phoenix is powered by a sense of urgency.
Phoenix is a self-starter.
Phoenix is self-motivated.
Phoenix lives his own truth.
Phoenix pursues validation.
Phoenix has a self-made life.
Phoenix has a family of choice.
Phoenix has a self-chosen fate.

Even if the time left is barely enough for a footnote to a life unlived; even if only a fraction of your dreams can still be fulfilled: when you reach the moment of revelation, peace and freedom: LIVE! Own your life, claim the opportunity to be your own person. Be realistic about people (Don’t blame them and don’t trust them. They’ve all been injured in some way; they all attempt to infect others with their toxic thoughts and are biased in their own favor, no exceptions!), but dare to live and assert your truth!

If you kill over and have lived for yourself one year only, you would have lived at least a year. That’s still more than not having lived at all.

There is a time when one gets tired of licking old wounds. When one looks at the past and the future and realizes there is no time left for hesitation, insecurity or passivity. When one becomes hyperaware of the fact that it’s now or never. And that’s when inhibitions fall off and the high-stake games begin in earnest, as if this was your last shot. It may well be.

Don’t be a hypocrite. Don’t ignore your inner voice. Your Phoenix has spoken. You arrived at the stage of redemption. Stop caring what others think of you. Forgive, heal and let go of the past. Imagine yourself free of attachments that bind. You own the “now”. You won’t be denied anymore. Follow the Phoenix within: claim your life, live your truth, make it count, NOW!
